Founded in 1986, Satyam prides itself on being a family run establishment. What began 25 years ago as a caterer for Indian sweet and savory dishes, through hard work and total determination has grown into a leading force in a competitive industry.

Satyam has been producing and selling a wide range of sweet and savory dishes. Our reputation has been built on our authentic and traditional products, all of which are produced ourselves using the freshest ingredients.

Over the years Satyam has evolved and in 2005 Satyam was the first pure vegetarian restaurant in Queensbury. The restaurant is both an authentic North and South Indian restaurant. The restaurant offers foods from traditional Gujarati background such as thalis to foods from South Indian backgrounds such as masala dosas prepared by expert chefs to ensure that only the best is served at your table. A major refurbishment was undertaken in 2009. The seating area is now a spacious one which accommodates up to 75 people. Beautiful canvas paintings are placed on all walls of the restaurant given customers a traditional Indian vibe.

Adjacent to the mithai shop and restaurant exists the Satyam bistro. Hot drinks and meals are available to customers such as tea, coffee, wraps and paninis. Authentic Indian sandwiches are also available for biting and take aways. In the bistro eggless cakes are available, both chocolate and fruit slices and whole cakes which are also made to order for all occasions. Both hot and cold shakes are available from a vast range of chocolates to meet the needs of the customer depending on the season.
